PP (Polypropylene)

PP is an environmentally sustainable plastic. Its a semi-crystalline plastic, primarily used in pipe extrusion and the packaging industry. It is highly chemical resistant and exhibits very low friction characteristics making it very suitable for roller shutter. For about 10 years now, this chlorine-free material has also been used in the furniture industry as an alternative to PVC. The main advantage of polypropylene is that it is easily disposed of.

ABS (Acrylonitrile Styrene Butadiene)

ABS is a non-toxic product which is totally safe to burn and to dispose of. When burnt, only soot and carbon dioxide are produced. It is neither toxic, corrosive, nor carcinogenic. It is totally recyclable and reusable. It is one of the most commonly used plastics due to its high impact resistance.

SB (Styrene Butadiene)

SB is an elastic copolmer sharing many properties with ABS. It has excellent abrasion resistance and aging stability and is used to produce the translucent profile.

Aluminium

Aluminium is ideal as a structural component. Our Lockbars are produced from aluminium and as a result are lightweight, hardwearing and attractive to ensure a long product life.
